Explicitly, the All India Bar Examinations examine an advocate’s capability to practice the profession of law in India. The AIBE assesses skills of a lawyer at a basic level. Intended to set a minimum benchmark for admission to the practice of law; the AIBE addresses a candidateโs analytical abilities and understanding of the basic knowledge of law. All India Bar Examination is an open book exam conducted twice every year. A lawyer needs to pass this exam before admitting to the bar.
Amid the on-going global pandemic and the nationwide lockdown; the aforesaid dates stand subject to modifications. Any such changes will be notified by the Bar Council of India. Notably, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all the college entrance exams were rescheduled; including SLAT, LSAT, CLAT and AILET.
